Our favorites are either the topknot or a big bow head wrap. It took a long time to get my two daughters to keep them on their heads but so worth it. Daddy’s wallet might be crying but at least our angels have a smile on their face when they get to pick out which bow they’re wearing for the day.
8 months ago today, Brenner and I got married. It started our forever family and my journey as a military wife. They say the first year is the hardest and sure enough it has been. But our love only grows stronger each and everyday. I got to marry my soulmate and my best friend 8 MONTHS AGO. Some days I still can’t believe it but he’s everything I was always wanting.
It’s not the big one year yet so “celebrating” wasn’t our priority but we got to spend the afternoon together before work duties called. We ate some ramen noodles ( healthy right..), watched some family guy, and took a big nap. Sounds like my kind of day.
Marriage is never easy. You have to choose everyday to wake up and love your partner. It takes effort. Some days are more rough and that’s okay. Life is hard, love is hard, being a wife can be stressful. We put so much pressure on ourselves as women to be perfect. ITS OKAY NOT TO BE PERFECT. Let loose, have fun, and be in love. Life is hard but don’t make it any harder on yourself.
